The Shih-tzu looks more like a Maltese…Maltese aren’t golden coloured-they’re white and have longer, straight fur once they’re out of puppyhood. Shih-tzus are more curly-furred.

phew. okay we’re compiling a list to send to our illustrator! we’re taking all of your requests into consideration, but particularly if we already posted pics of those dogs.
we’re also trying to set up a system so you folks can help us identify the breeds as we post them. because we definitely need help!
You should make a tag for every dog in the AKC + one mixed breed. I know it’s a lot of work but trust me, as someone who works with dogs daily I can tell you that there will always be people looking for a specific breed. Of course there will be requests for non-AKC breeds like a Catahoula, a Chinook, or a German Spitz or something but AKC is easy and most of those breeds will be the only ones you get sent anyway. Everyone will be happy and feel included. Plus, you’ll never know when you need it!
(IMO you only need one lab tag since all three lab colors are the same breed, you probably need only one Poodle tag and only one Schnauzer tag as well. Miniature Pinschers on the other hand are not mini Dobermans so you might consider two tags, just like Whippets, Greyhounds and Italian Greyhounds are all different breeds, not minis. /$.2)

Not to be picky, I already love the tag, but IMO as a Westie owner, the face on that tag should be rounder, and the mouth should show. Great idea on the tags!

I looked at the golden retreiver pictures, I know there were more than that, one with a golden trying to stick his head through a fence to get a ball captioned “ball ball ball ball ball”, one with a cute little golden puppy captioned “if you don’t do as I say I will gas yew with puppy breath”, one with a golden staring at a pie on a table with the caption “Intentions I has them”, one with 3 goldens at atms with the hackers reference “drop the virus, go for the wurm” and one with a golden in a suit, tie and glasses captioned “business dog is all business”
It is scary that I pay this much attention to the goldens, no?

Dear Lord looking up I see I am pretty much echoing my last post. BTW Britanny dogs are no longer called Britanny Spaniels. They are just Britannys (Britannies?) as they are not spaniels but pointers. They do resemble spaniels though, especially the French Britanny which is generally smaller.

Great idea, but I has a problum. MANY dogs breeds are tagged incorrectly. Chihuahuas tagged as Corgis, Dachshunds & Australian Shepherds tagged as mutts, Jack Russell Terriers tagged as Rat Terriers… A LOT of breeds are being misrepresented here! I really think that someone who’s very good at breed identifying should go through and fix these. A monumental task, I know, but WOW these are not correct in many cases!
