He looks like one of those bobble-head dogs folks used to put on the rear “package deck” of their cars – before everyone relaized that anything placed there becomes a deadly missile if you have to stop suddenly!
But he’s not dashing anywhere though he’s dashing (hello, sweetie!).
Awww, hotgoggie looks scared.
I hope the airbag doesn’t go off.
I was just thinking that…
“Get me offa here an’ put me either in my carrier or on somebody’s lap, NOW!”
cute…and yet, so dangerous.
I really wish they would make this illegal under animal endangerment.
Totally!
Noms 3.4 miles ahead, bear right…
if the driver has to make any kind of emergency manouvre or is involved in an accident that dog is (1) not going to survive and (2) probably injure the occupants too – very very irresponsible. Get a dog harness for the back seat to keep it safe.
I HIGHLY doubt that is a longterm placement for the dog…
It doesn’t take long for an accident to happen…
Yup…accident ahead… DASHhound lauching in 3… 2…. 1….
It’s a dachshund. The Dashhounds are myths…
I guess my first comment was a bit too harsh to make it past the mod, but I’m pleased to see that most of you recognize what a dangerous stunt this is.
And I hadn’t noticed that the dog was on the airbag. A 10mph fender-bender is all it takes to end the dog’s life.
Oh look, they’re trying to make a pun but failing. I was just going to say that obviously this person has no idea how to pronounce Dachshund, but Blackrain got to it first.
Daschhund. DOCKS-hund. Not Dash-hound. At least have the decency to learn how to properly say the breed of your dog…
Not to be a stickler for German diction, but it’s not so much DOCKS-hund so much as it is DA(CH)S-hunt, where the “ch” is actually that lovely German consonant that sounds like you’re hocking up a loogie (or, in Yiddish, “Challah” bread) and the “u” in “hunt” is the same sound as in “under.” Final “d” is sounded “t.” Because if someone is going to have the decency to learn how to properly say the breed of his dog, he ought to do it…well, properly. o_O
