I actually owned a dachshund who liked getting his toenails painted! Whenever he saw me doing my finger nails, he’d come around , lay on his back beside me, and let me paint his claws. His eyes would always get big and soft and happy looking as I painted them. Nail polish feels cool on nails as it goes on-maybe that’s what he enjoyed about it.
Unfortunately, my DH was less than enthused about seeing his male dachshund with fuschia sparkle claws (it was the 1980s, what can I say?).
Anyone know what kind of dog that is?
I’m almost 100% sure that’s a West Highland Terrier Puppy.
