why would a dog catch a kong? they’re for chewing to little bits, not chasing. imagine getting bonked on the head with one of those!
You catch it ’cause you’re a cattle dog cross, and that’s what you do with toys! And catching skills are too great to get bonked on the head. =P

How do you get your ACD to play with a Kong? Neither of mine will touch any toy they can’t destroy in minutes. When I originally looked up the temperament of ACDs, it said “aggressive chewers”… I don’t think that quite covers it.
