Groomer fell asleep again
It must be some form of animal cruelty to groom your goggie like this
I suspect he’s a rescue who had a seriously matted coat, and the only way to sort it out was to clip it right off. I used to be a dog groomer, and I sometimes used to have to deal with dogs like this.
Dis is what we gonna do to all the silly buggahs who post “FIRST!” stupidness.
He jus luckee dey dint haz lippy sticks an crazee gloo!
Face & tail look just like my goggie (a rescue). Anyone know what breed it is?
Judging from the face, tail and short legs it could be an Icelandic sheepdog. They sometimes get very matted coats if they’re not taken care of and can end up shaved like this.
Looks like a Finnish Spitz. Probably just a summer shave. The tail looks clean and bushy but thick like a winter coat.
The finnish Spitz is closely related to the Icelandic sheepdog, both of them being spitzdogs…it could be either one, but I guessed on the Icelandic Sheepdog since it’s smaller and has shorter legs.
Here’s information on the two breeds:

yes, my son found his picure on the wed site. Its my dog. They must have take the picture at the groomers. They messed up he was there for 5 hours the first day and 4 hours the next. His name is Simba and he is a husky/malamute mix
Oh, boy – that’s bad. I hope you at least got an apology. Did his coat grow back OK, or have they spoilt it for life? I know if a breed that isn’t supposed to be clipped is, the coat can grow back very dull and woolly. I do hope that didn’t happen to your boy.
thats the same exact hair cut that my fluffy mutt got, but it probably took longer and he has as thick or thicker fur than a siberian husky, nobody knows what breed he is
think twice before having a party with some drunk dogs XD
