This is actually my dog, Kyla. This was after her first FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery for hip dysplasia. And, yes, she’s a very happy dog and doing fantastic! Thanx for all the comments!

That is a very similar shave for a knee surgery… but it looks like the suture has allready been removed if it was. The lil spot higher on the hip and the one near his shoulder makes me think they might have been taking off some growths as well. Right front legs, since it is shaved all the way around, looks like it was for the IV would be taped in during surgery…. Left leg is just a patch over a vein so I’m guessing that’d be for the initial anasthetic.

And yes, he does look like a happy boy! Like hes giggling while his booty gets a tan. ^^
