FAIL!! That isn’t a newfoudland it’s clearly a landseer, google it.
Is both! In some countries, the landseer and the newf are categorized as different breeds but in others, the landseer is just a color variation of the Newfoundland. Can’t we all just get along? Doggies should unite us in their wonderfulness!
That’s Nanook, he’s famous, and he IS, very definitely, a Newfoundland Dog. I own him, and I should know.

Wow, I’d believe that it was real except for one thing, they stuck the bird on the tail, and not even Newfoundlands’ tails are that steady or strong. Now if they’d stuck it on the back….and besides I’m pretty sure Newfies aren’t bird-dogs. XD
Plus, macaws are HEAVY. Even if Newf’s had the most rigid tails out there, I’d still doubt it.

“A Landseer” and “A Newfoundland” are the same thing. It’s a Landseer Newfoundland, so called because Sir Edwin Landseer prefered to paint the black and white variety of Newfoundland dog. A Newoundland from the Landseer lines can be mostly black with just a white ruff and tail tip too. I used to have 2 of them.
clearly, goggie was specially bred for this purpose, as his tail is actually 25% tree limb. secret to removing birdee off the goggie: press the button in goggies left rear paw- triggers ejection feature in tree/tail. nice goggie nawt pressin buttin rite nao.

A bird dog is a dog bred to hunt birds. Which Newfies are not, but it’s a good pun!
