they are nice looking – I like a short hair breed. Do they have problems like pugs, whoisbobby?
They can have skin problems, but those can be remedied with diet. Shed hair a lot, but the hair doesn’t stick together in wads. They are notorious farters though. My parents have a French bulldog and she can stink up a room so bad she’ll leave herself.
Very lively and friendly dogs, but beware when they are playing with you. My parents’ dog is fairly big, especially for a bitch, and 35 lbs of dog — most of it chest, shoulders and head — packs quite a wallop. Not to mention jaws that seem to be wider than the entire head.

Frenchies! My absolute favorite of all the bulldogs! There’s just something about those bat ears… My friend’s mom shows these little boogers – they’re all just so happy and smooshy!
I love frenchies. Great high energy dogs. The noises they make are hilarious. Plus they look like windswept pugs. That puppy is adorable.
