I took this pic of my American Eskimo Dog, Frosty-girl, several years before she passed onto the Rainbow Bridge. I did it as a light-hearted reminder my nieces and nephew to not try to pet her. (Long story. To make it short, she had a rough life to begin with: Birthed from a puppy-mill mother, so lots of genetic-based temperment issues to begin with; raised in a home of abuse, neglect, and ignorance; then finally rescued by me at the age of seven. I couldn’t stand the tought of her going to the shelter since I *knew* she would be considered unadoptable because of her behavioral issues. Besides, we all know it’s the puppies and kittens that most easily find a home… not the adult animals with existing issues.) I loved her dearly and miss her so, and her passing was one of the most difficult events of my life. So thank you, -Nickey-jo.- so very much for making a moment in her life something special outside of what she had achieved with me, her momma. It brings a tear to my eye. :*)
