    D: HALP TEH POUR GOGGIE!

  2. Mily says:

This does nothing to help diffuse stereotypes…

Puppehs are for kissin, not nommin

  7. heidi says:

that’s just disturbing. is the puppy okay??

  8. LD says:

Why did it have to be an Asian child?? …not enough stereo-types of them eating dogs? lol jk

    • durr says:

generalization. and some people do eat dogs.

can we stick to the fact that babies are retarded and parents are idiots?
proof why parents AND pet owners should complete simple questionnaires like
      1. you should let your baby eat thumb tacks? y/n
      2. like snakes, all animals can go months without eating?
      3. all babies bounce? y/n
      4. i regularly take meth. y/n

      etc etc

      • risskia says:

If they did that, we’d no longer have a population problem.
We’d have a sterilizaiton overload problem.

      • Remy says:

        AMEN TO THIS

I think our reproduction system should be similar to that of Brave New World. Everyone is a test tube baby, but most of them are not bred to be fertile (or maybe they get fixed after birth, not sure).

  9. WilliamCA says:

This is why you don’t let the chinese near your goggies!!

    WilliamCA

  10. stacy says:

Really hope this is photo-shopped. I have a warped sense of humor, but no. Just no.

  11. Johnny says:

Wow! I didn’t even notice the ethnicity of the child. I was too disturbed that the photographer allowed this to continue. This is all kinds of FAIL.

  12. Dawn says:

Not funny or cute. That puppy is tiny and could be seriously hurt.

  13. Todd says:

    Yur bebbeh ate muh dingo

  14. Theresa says:

That is awful! That is NOT a lolz. NOT at all. OMG. Is that poor puppy ok? I could care less about stereotypes, I care about that poor puppy. :( I opened the page and was horrified.

  15. Gena says:

Not funny. Cruel. Someone save that puppy! Stupid baby.

  16. Alex says:

They sure teach em what to eat early on, dont they. <– So racially insensitive !

  17. Crystal says:

That’s just horrible. I hope the puppy is okay…

  18. Loucke says:

Dis y goggies bite bebehs. Bebehs desurv it. Nasty stinky bebehs…

  19. NO WAI says:

Proof that babies will put *anything* in their mouths.

  20. thisredhead says:

Not funny. That poor dog is dangling from its HEAD. Who would just stand there and snap a photo rather than help the puppy? That photographer should be dangled from THEIR head… see how cute it is then. Jeez. Some people’s children, I swear.

    • Clathi says:

I would not say some people’s children….I would say “some people”. The children won’t know any better if their parent’s do not correct them, wich is why I am more peeved about the fact nothing was done rather than the child doing what it’s doing. It’s because parents like the ones of this child do nothing, they find it “cute” and this is why we have people who abuse animals…they were never taught any better, and it bloody well *censored* me off.

  21. Mystery_Wolf says:

GRRR poor puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This makes me so angry at the parents and whoever’s taking the pic. Babies have no control over their strength of grip and they can grip really tightly and hurt that puppy!!!! GRRRRR!!!

  22. HJ says:

    FINISH HIM

  23. Zee says:

ok panicing people… obviously if the child had permanatly hurt the puppy they would NOT have posted the photo anywhere that it could be found…. and yes… while in general, holding a puppy in this manner is bad for it, chances are the parent may have handed the kid the puppy to take a picture, and the kid descided… hmm…. puppy… tasty…. and by the time parent registered what was happening he or she had already snapped the photo… which is actually quite cute and funny, and does show, kids will put anything in thier mouths…

  24. Wianne says:

To Zee; Very naive comment. What makes you think the puppy isn’t hurt, awful things happen and as long as people find it enjoyable they will post pictures of it on websites.

This is not funny and very inappropriate. If you’re talking about Asian stereotypes; ever seen the “funny” home video’s from Japan? Children falling hard and getting hurt makes them laugh. I’m dissapointed I found this picture here. I’m a big fan of ICHC. Why would anyone take this picture anyway, that person should have taken the baby away from those puppies.

    • mala says:

I don’t know that anyone would want to be stereotyped based on what is shown on “funny home videos” in their country. It seems to me Americans are also most amused by people falling and getting hurt.. well, that and getting hit in the groin. Hahaha, huh?

    • Crazy Emmersion says:

      This comment is win. :)

    • K says:

      I guess you’ve never seen “american’s funniest home videos”…

    • Susie says:

We have the same type of humor here in the states.I do very much hope that puppy was rescued as soon as the parents realized what was going on.That baby looks too young to hold a puppy like that for a long time, thank god.
As for the Asians eating dogs,I never heard of that, only Mexicans. And I don’t necensarilly hold it against any race to eat dogs.American Indians did, some cultures do,just like some revere the cow and won’t eat it.

  25. luzifer says:

ok… i really dont know whats the more annoying…

some crazy people freaking out over a totally innocent picture (holding a puppy that way will NOT hurt it, if its only for a second or two…) or that said people still use “lol speak” when furious about some baby and its parents….

hm.. maybe the most annoying part is, that i let myself be annoyed…

    whatever…

the baby is NOT eating the dog!

the baby is NOT breaking the dogs neck!

the baby does NOT hurt the dog on purpose!

the parents probably ARE dog breeders (given the fact that i see mre than one puppy) and as such know far better than all of you, what a puppy of that breed can endure without being hurt.

oh.. and im from a family of dog breeders too.. so yes… i know what im talking about…

now.. go on and mock me for my poor grammar and my poor moral standards and stuff…

have a nice day, all of you “goggie”-fans

    • Crazy Emmersion says:

      …You fail. :)

Point one: Holding a puppy that way is rather painful for the pup. :/ The kid is CLENCHING its ear and muzzle.
Point two: The fact that there are more puppies does not mean that they are breeders, dumbass. Ever heard of “Backyard Breeders?” Or, yah know, “accidents?” Having puppies =/= knowledgable breeder.
You are almost as fail as the photographer is.

    • nathalie says:

Kids endures lot to, but that doesn’t mean you can treat them how ever you like. Same thing goes with the animals!! Civilized people not only treat every one with respect, they also learn their kids to do the same. I have never let my kids behave like that!!

  26. Kelli says:

People, this is a baby, not a Great Dane! The only way that kid could injure that puppy at all is if that kid fell hard on its ass (as they sometimes do while learning to walk) and puppy happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The kid doesn’t have the muscle. I think it is adorable!

    • Steph says:

Have you ever held a young kids hand? They can just about squeeze it with as much force as an adult. Not to mention babies don’t hold things gently and that hand is wrapped around the puppy’s neck and head. I’m sure that poor puppy thinks its just soooo damn adorable

  27. Mily says:

I seriously doubt the puppy was hurt. We bred my dog and those babies are quite a bit more durable than you may think. And babies put everything in their mouths, their lips are the most sensitive parts of their body, so they use them to explore new things… Besides, mommy doggies pick up their puppies by the scruff of their necks too.

    • jessica says:

there’s a difference between scruff of the neck and HEAD, retard. and no, puppies are fragile and can have their little necks broken easily.

      • CottlestonPie says:

Excuse me, but we do NOT call people retard. Make your point civilly, or keep it to yourself.

        • jessica says:

lol maybe if people didn’t make uneducated RETARDED comments, I wouldn’t call them retard.

          • Cottleston Pie says:

We do NOT call people retard under ANY circumstances. Period. End of discussion.

            • lolz says:

Cottleston Pie, you’re a retard and you probably have downs.

            • Mel says:

You know, this is a light-hearted site, and while I find this picture incredibly disturbing, what’s worse is all these rude comments. You shouldn’t call people retards when you have no clue who they are. If they make a comment you disagree with, then politely disagree. This site has no place for distastful, rude comments like these.

          • risskia says:

I agree with Cottleston. I work with people who have mental retardation. The way people use this term – as you just have – makes it MUCH harder for the people I work with to integrate into society. It perpetuates damaging stereotypes.
            Please find another word.

          • jessica says:

oh get over yourselves. ok, you don’t like retard, I’ll just call ya’ll dumbasses, better?

  28. debbeh says:

Maybe there should be a disclaimer – “No puppehs or bebbehs were harmed in the making of this LOL.”

  29. Mary Ann says:

Instead of taking the picture, why didn’t this idiot help the puppy? Another reason babies/kids suck.

  30. pattie says:

While I am shocked at the fact that some “parent” opted to take the time to snap this picture instead of taking the puppy out of their childs mouth, I am more shocked that this site posted the picture.
    It’s NOT cute or funny.
This picture needs to be deleted immediately.

  31. 3goggies says:

    Not cute, not funny. Disturbing.

  32. mlm says:

hehe shes learning to eat doggies early. way to go asian baby!

  33. debbeh says:

If puppies are as fragile as certain people here have suggested, and the world is supposedly “survival of the fittest,” how do dogs still exist?

  34. anon says:

    Not in the least amusing.

  35. Todd says:

OMG – The hysteria returns! Dog noms bebbeh! Bebbeh noms dog!

You all have some irrational phobia of teh dog/beebbeh noms

  36. ai says:

This is hilarious. Some of you just can’t take a frakking joke. Whether the dog got slightly injured or not, whether the kid’s Asian or not, it’s still funny as hell.

  37. dsh says:

If babies have as tough a grip as adults you know, you hang around with some pretty wimpy adults.

  38. ostrichjen says:

this is completely disgusting. anyone that says puppies aren’t fragile obviously hasn’t been around any puppies. not to mention their eyes haven’t even opened yet!

i’m sure all of you would really appreciate being held by the neck by someone 10 times bigger and stronger than you are.

i’m sure if that had been a human baby, no one would laugh.

it’s because people like you (the ones laughing) that animals get abused on a daily basis.

  39. Natalie says:

    I think it’s funny!

  40. clozobozo says:

ok no one here is absolutely 100% correct or 100% wrong
so stop being rude and calling other people rude things!

    • puppeh fwiend says:

partially agree, first of, these are all opinions, and there is NO SUCH THING as right or wrong in opinon. Just live with the fact that not everyone agrees with you, and YES puppies are fragile, only not as fragile as some people seem to think

    • queenbee999 says:

      agrreeed

  41. anon says:

    That’s just sick.
It’s weird to see something considered animal abuse on an animal site.
    That’s just fail.

  42. Snippy says:

If so many people are finding this offensive you need to not sit here and comment about it…

    icanhascheezburger+copyright@gmail.com

email the folks that run this site. I’ve had things removed with just me saying something (upside down cross).

  43. sarah b. says:

baby grabs dog. dog bites baby’s face. baby learns lesson. end of story.

  44. Mar says:

This comment thread is infinitesimally funnier than the picture hahahahahahaha!

  45. grapejuice says:

As a mother, the baby couldn’t really be holding it by it’s head like that for more then a second. They simply can’t grip well. Puppy’s are wiggly. And, it was merely to slobber on the dog with it’s gums and tongue. It’s a split second photo that was taken at the right angle, probably by accident.

If anything, the puppies think the baby is part of the liter. Since that’s what puppies (also babies) do to each other, but with sharp teeth…

  46. Nicole says:

This picture is disturbing, I love this website but this picture is NOT funny at ALL. It’s not cute either, it’s very wrong. Stupid parents.

  47. Amber says:

Children are unpredictable and lightening fast. Anyone who has worked with children or who has children knows they can swipe something up and have it in their mouths before you can take two steps across a room. This was obviously set up to be a cute picture…it just didn’t turn out that way. This is an accident unfortunately caught on film. That does not make it abuse.

Something else you should all understand is this. Just because it appears on this site DOES NOT mean that the person who took the original photo put it here with the intention of being funny. They are probably not even aware it is here. The caption under the photo says “dunno source,” which means it was stolen from someone’s personal website online and posted here by someone who was just in a frenzy to have their “capshun” posted on ihasahotdog.com, and not really thinking about the controversy it would cause.

Stop blaming the kid, which is ridiculous, and stop blaming the photographer. If you want to blame someone, blame the person who uploaded it and captioned it, and then email ihasahotdog+contactus@gmail.com and tell them what you think about how they select which photos get posted on their main page.

    • Reika says:

If someone took the picture, only to realize what it was AFTER the shot was taken, then the photographer should be the ONLY one with the picture, meaning only the photographer could put it on the internet. The only way around this is if the photographer gave it to a friend, reletive, etc. or copied the picture off. Either way, the photographer obviously didn’t dispose of the picture or it wouldn’t be on the internet now, thus meaning that the photographer is to blame here for keeping the picture in the first place and allowing it to be shown to other people.

  48. zonker says:

Help Help! The baby ate my Dingo ! (gracious nod to Meryl Streep)

That poor little baby is just trying to clean to goggies ears, like it saw the mommy goggie doing. ;)

  49. lilbittymonkey97 says:

ya it dus says *unknown sorce* undr d pishure… BUT babys do gots some stwong gwips and it iz possibl the goggie pup is hurt…. but liek fum oder comments it was prolly an accidentl picshure … i haz a havenese puppy and hes pwetty tuff… dis goggie pup prolly can handl a few secunds of dis

    GO GOGGIES!!!!

  50. Peaches says:

OMG ~ To quote my 3 yo, “Babeez blowin up a dog balloon!”

  51. Ferry says:

    OMG!
That they let this kid do this. And then take a picture..
Go smack that kid and the a$$ who took the picture…
    OMG!

  52. Striega says:

so… let’s hold this kid by it’s head for a while. I’m sure that it won’t get hurt.
Puppies can be very easily harmed when held like this. I don’t find words to describe such inhumanity

  53. Mana says:

As a child care provider & former dog breeder i can say this is bad.Chances are the dog was fine, but also very high that the pup was killed.Do Not Want.

  54. nathalie says:

I could just kill the kid and the person who took this picture!! Grrr

  55. j says:

I took a similar picture with my 2 yr old daughter and a baby goat. I was taking pics of her w/ the animals and she hugged the baby’s neck and then picked it up as I was taking the picture.
There was an attendant standing right next to her, and the baby was too quick for her. The goat was fine (goats are a little tougher than puppies.)
The camera I had at the time was very slow – kept missing the shot. Perhaps the same is here – you snap the shot and by the time the picture takes, you have a doggie in your mouth.
Hopefully the pup’s neck wasn’t hurt. (Biting wouldn’t have done anything – the kid probably doesn’t even have teeth yet.)
I doubt the parent staged or encouraged this – just happened to get the shot.

  56. spinax says:

jessica is right, that is a retarded baby and has no right to torture the poor puppy.

  57. CheshireCatGrin says:

I agree that this picture was probably an accident. If it wasn’t, that’s terrible, and the people who took it should have their dogs taken away. Blaming the kid, however, i totally and completely wrong. This child is obviously very young, it probably can’t en speak yet. So how would it know that it was hurting the dog or even that it was wrong? Come on people. Use your heads.
