I think he’s Army tho. They just switched to digital camo too. The Marines have separate patterns for desert (all tan/khaki) and woodland (similar to the old standard camo). The Army uses a single pattern that uses a dusty green with tan and gray that’s supposed to be effective in woodland/desert/urban. Pretty sure that’s ACU not Marpat.

The dogs in Iraq are great, we had a few on our base that we would all take care of. Some of the other soldiers i was with had a dog that always hung around one of the buildings out in the city, they always fed/pet it when they went there, and then when they went inside it would guard the vehicles and if any Iraqis approached it would growl and bark at them.
Dawe, isn’t amazing how loyal and protective dogs can be? That’s why I work K-9, dogs make a better partner than i could ever ask for in a human.
