Wow, never seen a wiener dog with that calico coat - neato. What is the proper name for that kind of coat anyway?
friends of ours had a weiner dog like that and they said it was called “piebald”

They are called Piebalds and they are GORGEOUS!
NOT PIEBALD! Piebald is white coat with blacks and browns.
This is DAPPLE or DOUBLE DAPPLE if both parents are dapples.
Have done dachsie rescue for years so I know this. Double dapples are always the result of irresponsible breeding. Doubles are usually handicapped with blindness or severe vision problems.
I dunno, my dog was half pit bull, half Australian Sheppard and was not handicapped. Unbelievably strong and healthy actually. Don’t understand equating coat color with weakness.
It only applies to Dachshunds where a dapple coat is linked to harmful recessive genes.
