That’s a minpin. Miniature doberman pincher. They’re kinda feisty like chihuahuas, but not nearly as aggressive at dobermans. adorable and loveable dogs, but have to be house trained severely.

If that’s a min pin, she’s not breed standard by the large white patch on her chest. She also doesn’t have the desired “barrel” chest you look for in a well bred min pin (a wide chest tapering up to a thin waist, much like a greyhound is built). I’m leaning towards a mix or a chihuahua. In the 2nd picture, it’s not terribly clear, but it doesn’t look like the dog has a cropped tail, which almost all min pins have. I also have min pins – 3 of them at one time, now 2. kthxbai!

Yes, that dog looks like a chihuahua; the AKC says they can be “sny color-Solid, marked or splashed.” Though, you can never be 100% for sure about any rescued dog… Hope this helps!

i apol.. apple.. sory for mi lacks of grammer, but – is that little dog a chihuahua? I ask because I adopted a dog that looks *just* like that, down to the white chest and baldy tummy, but I’ve had some doubts about her heritage because she doesn’t look like a lot of other chihuahuas. I don’t care “what” she is, I just want an easy, definitive answer to “what kind of dog is that?”
