I agree with Reika. Words are just that: words. Not something tangible that we can injure other people with, they are simply the expressions of the thoughts of individuals.

Words aren’t offensive unless you allow them to be. Personally, I found this rather funny. And I am not a 6th grader that goes around cussing people out. I’m actually a 21 year old who uses cussing in moderation, but still thinks the words have a tendency to be funny if used in a funny manner, and not used just because you can.

amandasea was commenting on the fact that now a days people just use profanities to be humorous, and that it annoys him/her that todays society is like that. Please try to understand a message before flaming the person who wrote it.

Though I agree with you mostly, I have to point out that if you’re going to use the internet, you have to expect this kind of thing. You cannot expect everyone to cater for children, or people who are not yet ready to read profane words. The internet is a bad place, and if you are still offended by words such as the one mentioned in this picture, I suggest you don’t use it.

The f-word(I hate calling it that because there are many words that begin with an F) is only offensive because people like you get all upset about it. It’s just a word they aren’t good or bad they just are. Two things can make a word offensive, the way it was written or the way it was read. I don’t think that it was meant to be offensive. I don’t think that it was put there maliciously to upset all you word-haters. It something to make people laugh. If you don’t laugh then move on to the next picture of a dog and move on with your day.

sereously, i see 2nd graders running around cussing ppl out. and if i can see no adults ar around, i punch them in the face! it makes me mad! little kids think theyre so bad*** when they cuss constantly. if your not in 6th grade or higher, u shouldnt cuss peiod.

I personaly agree with grant fully, cuz i think this picture should never have been captioned. and what about the random at the top? It still shows up there, too. I don’t like cussing, so i substitute my own made up words instead. Say it with me: “What the miff is going on?”
See? doesn’t that feel better? not only do you not cuss, but you also add a new word to the english dictionary! Yays! everyone wins!

I whole heartedly agree with you. Now you can make sure your kid does not see it and they have the right to post their photo. I do not believe in censoring but I do think it is curtious to give a little warning that their may be content some people might not want to see.

I applaud Grant for speaking up and saying how he felt, he realized he overreacted and everything is cool. But WAHHHH!! For all the other people that are complaining… are you serious?? It “EXASPERATES” me that people think things cant be creative or well thought because it contained some profanity. Grow up people, it is all the frame of mind ur in when u read it I guess. When u are a positive person you see positive things, and vice versa. I thought it was hysterical!! That’s just it. A lot of parents DO watch their kids on the internet, and warnings like this keep the site safe for kids. I’m glad they censor these. Yes, they’re funny, but I wouldn’t want my 9-year-old scrolling down to have this pop in her face. This way, if I don’t want to see it or didn’t want my kids to see it, I could just skip it.

Seriously, I am all for free speech. What exasperates me is when people use cuss words instead of being creative and original with language. How funny can you bee if you have to cuss for it to be funny? If it’s not funny without the foul language… maybe it just isn’t funny at all, and that’s sad.

What about “Offended by bad language or beautiful dogs, then dont click”? If you’re offended by bad language, then why did you click? Did you want something to be angry at? They didn’t assume no one was offended by the F-Word, or else they wouldn’t have put that there. (Unless I’m late and they added the ‘don’t click’ phrase later after people started complaining.)

I hate how EVERYONE always thinks that no one is offended by the f-word, and they just use it like crazy. Have you ever considered that a lot of kids go on this website, and that I may be one of them? The whole “don’t click here if you’re offended by cussing or beautiful dogs” thing wasn’t there when I first looked, so…yeah.
